Default 18'' wheels with 2 or 3 inch lip!

Just bought my Tc and want to throw some wheels on it. I want a mesh wheel with a 2 or 3 inch lip. I've been doing my research and now want to see pics of your rides to help me make a decision. If your rims have this type of lip, help me out and post your pics. I'm not ''locked'' in on a mesh wheel. God bless.

^^ check out the aggressive wheel thread.. there are plenty of deep lip wheels there. Some sites to check out would be wheeldude.com and raderwerks.com

Like RS2_1823 said: Raderwerks, M-TEN80 S. Really "meshy", and slightly higher quality for a cast wheel.
I think scion_jon has them, or something similar. Sexy wheel.

I'm thinking of about a 1.5'' drop, any idea how it will drive?

it will drive well with only a 1.5" drop. but running 3" lips would mean your wheels would have to be at least 9" wide or unless you somehow come across something with really low offsets. if your wheel is 9" wide, your offset would have to be around 25-30 for 3" lips...but then with only a 1.5" drop your wheels might stick out past your fender because you will have very little camber from your drop....just a few things to think about

mystik, I just don't want to run into a situation where my rear wheels are "slanted" inward. I'm ok with them sticking out past the fender as long as it's minimal. Thanks for the info!

You're going to be looking for a wheel that has a very high offset then. Also, it shouldn't be too wide. Otherwise if it pokes and you're not goin to lower it enough and camber it then it'll be a perfect example of mexifail.

if its +45 offset you will need to add some camber otherwise you wont clear the fender and your tire will hit it. the 73 is hub bore, thatll fit.

Will I run into the same thing if I go with 18's. If so, what type of camber kit would be good to go with?

you wont need a camber kit, and yes you will run into the same issue with 18s...you shouldnt need to camber it too much, maybe -1 degree to -1.5 would be more than enough.

If youre worried about rubbing, just go with a 17. The Miros are a great choice though.
