ok everyone so heres my question....

I could get 18 by 8 but they are on backorder and woudnt ship until the beginning of april, but i could get the 7.5 right now.

what are the pros and cons of each, and what do you think i should go with?

by the way i am dropped on H techs if that makes any difference!

wait for the 8" wides. it's only 2 weeks lol. and that extra 1/2" will help it be more flush.

 

i would see if you can get lower offsets...i have 18x8 with +38 offsets and the front is okay without spacers, but the rear could use a 15mm spacer. depends on how much you care about wheel fitment

 

not so much fitment, they'll fit just fine. just flushness will be crap w/o spacers

 

isnt the xb a bit different than the tc tho?

i want these wheels bad, but i want the 18 by 8 i just want to know if there were any special things i should know about each

but i will say go 18x8 wait the extra for it. i personally love wider wheels...7.5 just doesnt look wider than stock on a lot of cars...go crazy and go widebody!!! haha

AND YES i do know that supposedly everyone has these wheels, but i have NEVER seen anything like this where i live.

and i also realize that alot of people hate these wheels on there cars because they think they are too angular for our curves of the tc

I may possibly end up getting the chrome part coated white so they would match the two tone black and white!

 

they're just gonna look tucked in, which isnt fashionable IMO.

Im getting 18x8 for my tC. What offset would be the safest and give me the least amount of rubbing on an h-tech drop? 35mm offset or 38mm offset? Or could I do 40mm offset?

 

you could go 40

 

Just put on 18x8 +38 with 225/35/18 today and they look great!
