1600! dang...haha forget that, great rim but im broke and i know no one else is gonna get these because everyone else is broke as well.

 

they are great wheels, already have a set in 17x8 35et who ever ends up getting a set is not buying garbage.

im worried about the offset, i dont these will look like the ones on the evo, just the color

 

It doesn't really matter because the RPF1's don't concave. It won't look as bad as you think.

 

I wonder if these would clear wilwoods..they look super flush on the subie forums

 

man i dont know whether i want 17s or 18s. if i stay with 17s instead of getting a bbk i can get the wilwood calipers for front and rear and still fit 15's.

 

wilwood calipers are still considered bbks, I think 18s are pretty awesome..but if I was gonna get these, I might as well have gotten dan gardners RPF1s which were spec'd for our ride. Less then 16 pounds with 30 offset is pretty tight..and it clears BBKs.

 

I'm pretty sure these will have same face design as those on evo x and earl's subaru in the pictures which is the most aggressive face you can get on rpf1's. even 18x10 and 10.5 with lower offset have same face design, all they do is changing hub design.

as for bbk, you might need 5mm or maybe 10mm spacers to clear calipers but since 18x9.5 +38 isn't crazy at all, adding spacers will make them look better unless you worry about messing wheel bearings and etc.

 

why wouldnt bbks work on this rim? bbks clear 17x8.5 offset 30

 

okay, so here are pictures of 8.5" width and 9.5" and up

see the difference? 8.5" (and lower) with whatever offset have spokes stick out from its face while 9.5" or up will have spokes go in towards the inside of rim. therefore, above design will have more clearance than one on the bottom. Of course, the bottom one looks 1000 times better with a little bit of concaveness (too little to call it concave tho. LOL)

they just have difference face design so width and offset don't matter in this case.

step your game up and get the aggressive size with better looking wheel.

 

I want the stock diameter wilwoods. so they clear my 15s. so I can take it to the strip often.

yea but BBKS with them look awesome. I rather have safety and reliability then great looks. Function>Form for me.

 

these wheels would probably clear a BBK no problem
