18x9 offset38 225/40/18 -1.7camber 0gap

i got a 25mm spacer. you guys think i might be pushing it? fenders are roll


currently i add a 5mm no rubbing at all. lets see how 25mm will work.

with those tires, yes...

i had 18x9 +16 and it was fine with about the same camber, -0.7 up front and -1.7 in the rear and i was running 215/35 tuckin tires slightly fitment was spot on, i was gonna put small spacers on but winter came so i sold the wheels.

debating if i should get it camber more. i put the spacer near the fender and right now it looks hardcore rubbing lol

wish i gotten 215/35 instead of 225/40 used tires...

 

you should go with a 205/40

 

yea ill go with 215 or 205 once i get new tires. but since i have these got to make the best out of it.

09socaltc what u think of the setup? ill barely flush so with 25mm spacer flush

 

you will need to run around -2.5 of camber, you will be flush.

You just gotta know somebody that'll be cool enough to do that, or have a friend to work at one. I'll be making a 2+ hr drive for alignment and fender rolling whenever(if I ever) get a wider set of wheels, for tire stretching they charge a little extra. Found a one stop shop that's recommended a bit on another forum.

 

i paid a shop 20 if i cant get my align at firestone. he just camber it thats it

When I asked at the nearest Firestone, the one who does the alignments said he will only set it within OEM specs. It's all because of liability issues to cover their behinds.

 

The firestone next to me told me they won't even do my car cus it was too low

 

The Firestone near me I think is the only one with an inground alignment rack(out of all the Firestones nearby), it's the most recent store opened, so I'm glad they stepped up on that. If they could be more chill on the alignment setup then they'd def get some more business.
