i used the search no luck. just wondering the pros and cons for this set up. i saw some 17inch wheel combo for a decent price. the tires that comes with this is 205/40/r17. my current set up is stock 215/45/r17. i'm also on tanabe df210 drop. any picture will be great. i just don't want to add a wheel gap if i go with 205's. all inputs is welcome. thanks.....

 

The fact that it is a 40 series tire will make the sidewall thinner, and therefore make the overall diameter of your wheel-tire smaller (more wheel gap.)

It will also throw off your speedo by a small %

Try to just get a 45 series sidewall if you can.

 

great info I hope someone can post a good picture. I was thinking staying with the 45series but again I never seen a 205/40r17 here. I know somebody has tried of have this wheel size.
