you should be ok tho with a 9 ....i talked to one of the reps at J2/Monarch and he said the front should be fine but the back you would need a soft roll with that offset. If you go any lower or go 9.5 you would need to cut and pull

I want to be able to still fill my rear trunk with wieght.. or have people ride in the back sit with out it having a chance of rubbing..
Also using a smaller tire on a larger wheels looks odd to me..
Id guess Id be better off doing 18x8 all around
any more suggestions info? trying to order somthing this week.
Does anyone know the quality of the Monarch(/JAz/J2 what ever they are called) compared to 5 Zigen(a name I have heard of being a very good one piece wheel)

How about an incentive to buy the 5 Zigen from you?

I have 5Zigen on my xB. Its a very high quality as far as finish and it's very strong too ( was in accident- hit the guard rail and bent the strut, but the wheel had only cosmetic damage). The ones i got are 16x6.5 in hyperblack. Its more of the light grey actually. Here is the pic:

Just remember that the lip you see on the rim in the pix isn't necessarily the lip you receive.
A lot of sites use pix of rims 20"+ to show off the phat lipage. You order thinking you'll get the same
amount of lip on your 18s, only to be disappointed that the lip is half the size of the one in the pix!
I'm not trying to discourage you from ordering what you like, I just wanted to give you a 'heads up' is all.
