either one, if they came with 5x114 then they probably have adapters (or double check and make sure they really are) then get those or take them off and get 5x100. More selection in 5x114 though, depending on what you're looking to get

no he could be just mistaken or the wheel he owns has both 5x114 and 5x100 or like previously said adapters was used.

BUT STILL A 1ST GEN TC ONLY USED 5X100 BOLT PATTERN

and a hub swap on a 1st gen tC is a waste of money,

This. There's been discussions and attempts, but nothing ever completed.

i've thought about swamping xb2 hubs but $173 to $300 BNIB for each hub is ridiculous compared to buying the most expensive adapters for 400 or less for all four. Sure you could have a discount or junk yard parts, Still imo waste of money.

So because its a waste of money it's never been done on here before? could be done for next to nothing with the right tools.

After six weeks of hard work, the tC was put back together in time for the last Time Attack event of the season. The event was at GT Live (Virginia International Raceway). With all the new upgrades we made to the tC, including a fully-built motor, custom 5x114 front hubs, and 285 front tires, our driver

Front got did... And that involves an axle..... Rear shouldn't involve rocket science. I don't see how you can throw out a blanket statement like it has never been done before however. They are custom yes but Hondas are a perfect example of if it can be done it will be done. I myself would send the wheel out to be convereted before I swapped the hub... But iirc it was said it was never done.... It has been done/ end of story

Well I do recall Ptuning doing that conversion, that has been posted before, yes(did I forget, well yea). I was thinking more along the lines of the do-it-yourselfers. Of course a tuning company has the resources and machines to make that conversion.
