Question 5zigen 18x7.5 +35 Question ?????

Hi, i have my tc droped with S-Tech & KYB's, it looks low on the OEM 17x7 & I like to fit some 18x7.5 +35, is there any tC owner with the same configuration that i have with 18x7.5 +35 wheels. I like to know if there is any rub in front or back & if a +35 will be mor flush with the fenders than the OEM 17". Thanks

i have 18x7.5 et+38 right now and lowered about 3.15". theres no rub on the fenders, but it will rub the plastic wheel well liner when youre going over a bump on the freeway.

Yep, I'm on 18x7.5 +35 5Zigens also. I've had both Tein H-Techs and S-Techs and right now I'm on Hotchkis. It is a bit more flush than the OEM 17s but still not flush with the fender.

On any of the springs, I have yet to rub in the front. Rubbing in the rear is the issue. The rears would rub on all 3 sets. The Hotchkis are the lowest I've had in the rear (lower than my S-Techs in the rear) and it used to rub a lot. After rolling the fenders it only rubs on hard dips or when I have one or two passengers in the rear. Honestly, I don't think it was ever rubbing on the fenders themselves. I think if I cut a bit of the plastic out where the fender meets the bumper, it would fix the issue. I think that's where most of the rubbing was taking place.

Keep in mind, I'm running a 225/40/18. A narrower tire may rub less.
