okay, so now all I need to figure out is what size to get... either the 18x7.5 or the 17x8. The 17 weighs a little less, but I like how the 18 looks when the car is lowered. Which wheel would be best for the hotchkis drop? There really isn't a worry about rubbing, but which wheel would look more flush to the body?

If it is at all important to you, you'd be running a 225 on the 18, or a 245 on the 17... which do you want more: an extra inch of wheel, or 20mm wider treadblock? I would, on any given day, choose the latter.

You could also be running 235 on the 17 as well... isn't 245 just a tad big? I know that I have read 225 was the max on a 7.5 inch wide wheel... any more info on that? One more thing, could I still have that nice snug (but not to snug ) fit with the 17's? Thanks for the input!

A 245 goes perfectly on a 17x8. Nice straight sidewall. The 245/40 is also as close as you can get to the stock diameter with wider rubber.

hmmm so your drop wont be as much as mine, so it will clean up that wheel gap a bit more... I think I am going with the 17's now... they almost look like 18's on the car, especially the ones on yours!

Noithing out of the ordinary. A little scuffing on the inside from... err... "spirited" cornering, shall we say. ;)

^^ nice... I've got the ground effects kit as well and I've been leaning towards an 8" wheel with a 35 offset... push the wheels out just a bit more.... 7.5 with 35 looks good enough too...
