It's all about the offset with respect to the width not the diameter or the rim, assuming you get the right profile tire (aspect ratio) to keep things close to the stock daimeter. There was a topic posted a few days ago on wide rims where someone posted they knew somebody riding on an 18x9 wheel with a +24 offset. I just flat out couldn't believe that. Then again, who am I to call someone a lire. If it works, it works.

That's why I said I( have no right to doubt you. I know you were the one who posted that but I didn't want to start throwing names around. But if a +24 with a 9" wide fits then why doesn't this guys +35 's fit. The difference in width is an inch a side in favor of raytrix on top of an additional 9mm.

but raytrix is dropped pretty low right?

it all depends on the drop you have, and what size tire your running when your running such large rims as HKSpeed is.

I’m now running the 5Zigen 18x8.5” +48mm in bronze with 245/35/18 Toyo T1R’s. They’re almost flush with the fender but not quite. Right after I got these things on, I purposely went out tried bottoming out my car on the driveway to Forest Tire in Milwaukee. I know this isn’t good by any means but they told if anything rubs the tires can still be swapped free of charge. So there it is, two months of driving, autox, and Wisconsin roads (bad!) and hasn’t rubbed. Just thought I’d throw in my experience.
