I'm looking into getting the same rims from wheel studio. I'm planning on getting the 18x7.5 in the graphite finish with the silver polished lip for my SSM. I was wondering what offset you got? I kinda want to have everything flush with the fenders and not tucked in like the stocks?

The info on the Wheelstudio confirmation looks like the wheels have a +42 offset. I think I'm gonna wait to get the spacers until I have the new wheels on and I can get a better idea of how it'll all fit together.
I think I've got the offsets available for these wheels figured out. The 18x7.5 comes in +42. The 19x8 comes in either +45 or +35, maybe depending on what bolt pattern you get. For our 5x100 it is +35.

The 18x7.5/+42 will make your wheels stick out 9mm further than stock.
(45-42=3mm, 7.5-7.0=0.5/2=0.25=6mm, 3+6=9mm)
Better but still not flush.

If you go with the 19s you'll get out 22m which will be pretty close to flush.
(45-35=10mm, 8-7=1/2=0.5=12mm, 10+12=22mm)

On the 18s, adding the H&R 15mm spacers will get you out 24mm over stock.

This guy was running 20mm spacers on stock wheels with S.Tech drop, and was rubbing on the fronts some. So 24mm is gonna be risky.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=63775

This guy has Axis Decades that are 18x8/+35, with 1/4 spacers and S.Tech drop.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=112515
(45-35=10mm, 8-7=1/2=0.5=12mm, 0.25=6mm, 10+12+6=28mm)
So he's out 28mm from stock on S.Techs, but he has 215/35ZR18 tires so that helps. Perhaps there is hope for extending out 24mm on 225/40/18 tires on a milder drop with no rubbing!

Also, I figured out how to edit the URL at wheelstudio.com so you can browse all the different configurations for all the wheels. First navigate to the wheel you want from the brand list (not by choosing your car first). Then when you are on the single wheel's page the URL will end in "?osCsid=" followed by a bunch of gibberish. Delete all that so that the URL ends with "products_id/6895" where those last four digits will be the item number for each individual wheel size/fitment/bolt pattern. Just change that number one up or down to look through all the configurations. When you see a totally different wheel you've gone too far.

Then you can try and figure out Wheelstudio's fitment code that will be on each of those individual pages. For my TC Evo's
http://wheelstudio.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id/6895
it's
[Axis.TC Evo.5x100.18.7.5.42.gphwsr]
which translates to
[Brand.Model.boltpattern.diameter.width.offset.color]

Enjoy.

I made one but it looked like crap. From the bad Photochop and the bad color combo. Not even worth posting.

Plus you've already moved on to the Works anyway! LOL

hey 2Clean, for some reason I haven't mastered the whole posting pictures on this forum deal, but if you want I can e-mail you pictures of my ride now and after i put the drop springs in and rims on. PM me and let me know. I'm thinking everything won't be on until maybe the 19th of April. I gotta wait until the break to get some good time to work on everything.

im just guessing, but you can't pull that off? i mean, it may just be some plastic to keep it from scratching during the shipping process. ya know, like on the screens of cell phones when you first get them?

The blue plastic is definitely just a protective film that's meant to be removed.

On the one wheel that I opened, the rectangular piece on the spoke was obviously going to come off, it was already lifting off the edges a bit. The one on the center cap was not as obvious, but when I run my thumb over the surface I can hear a crinkling sound as it sticks and releases around the edge of the raised "axis" logo. I'm waiting until I get the tires mounted to take the film off.

On that note, some sad news. I wasn't able to get any of my friends with trucks to help me out and take my tires and wheels to the shop to get mounted and balanced tonight. So that's going to be postponed until tomorrow afternoon.

So here's all I can offer for now, pics of a wheel test-fitted on my car:

Here's checking the inside clearance (it's only 3mm less so I didn't expect any problems):

Real pics tomorrow! I mean it!
