Default Baby's Got a New Pair of Shoes

Finally got my new tires mounted. They've only been sitting in our house for a couple months.

Specs:
- BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 (KDW NT)
- 215/45/17 (OEM size)
- $540 shipped from tirerack.com (discounttire may have been cheaper but didn't have that size)

I don't really have a review yet b/c I just got them on Friday and only have like 50 miles. So far though they seem really nice, but I also did just install my rear sway last weekend too. But as many of the reviews have said, they DO have noticable road noise at varying speeds. But that's what stereos are for, right?

Ya... that was a small part of why I got them. They look pretty badass.

i've got the exact same setup....tires are awesome....slipped every single time it rained with the stockie's...haven't slipped once yet and ive had these on since early December. everyone loves the tread design...i've gotten some serious compliments every time someone sees it....road noise will be unnoticeable after about 3 days....and yes thats what your stereo's for lol

Whenever you put your tires to the test, can you tell me how sticky they are on the road? I am in the process of purchasing some sticky tires to go with my rims.

great tires, i have them on my tC. i got 235/35/19 and they are sticky. I can't ever peel out anymore because the tires grip so well. i recommend these to anyone looking for new tires.

I had these tires stock on my old srt-4. They are kinda noisy (though in the dodge the exhaust kinda drowned it out anyways), but they stick nicely. Even from a dig, I could hold traction in first from a pretty hard launch (3500 rpm while making boost). Great tire choice!

Nice tires man!, Like Neothin said they are kinda noisy but I barely notice it anymore. I have those same tires on my Rota's they are decent. But I still spin on them all day. Im going back to the stock 17" wheels with the BFG drag radials on the front...

Still definitely love them. Between the tires and rear sway that's on now... I'm loving this car more every day.

And just an update on the noise. It's still "there" but it has toned down quite a bit and I really don't hear it anymore when I'm driving. Definitely a very minor thing if you're looking for a good set of tires!

very nice tires. I had them mounted on 18s on my S10 which was very low but did not have "performance" suspension at all and it would still snake around the backroads at 55+ mph without ever breaking traction. I loved those tires so much.

yeah I tracked with them at Little tally over in Alabama.
they performed just ok....
The traction was good. they silpped very little..
BUT...
If you ever plan to use them on the track make sure YOU HEAT THEM UP CORRECTLY...

I Imagen I took off over 6,000 miles... I did like 53 laps, on a 1.33 mile track
over the course of like 10 or so hours. if i"m not mistaken its like 73 or so miles...

the problem I had was when they would get real real hot, the tred would break off in huge chunks... all those center rivits were gone....

my review:
good dry and wet weather tires for avrage STREET driving
Horrid Track tires don't bother wasting your money just to get them eaten alive...

I feel as if they made the tires for those who wish they were race car drivers and never actualy take their cars to the track. then sucker them into spending an **** load of cash...

^^ Ya, I don't plan on using these on a real "track" ... just autox. So maybe like 5 miles max for the day.
