Bolt Pattern:5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3 will this fit a scion tc?
"if you want those to work you have to get wheel adapter that from 5x100 to 5x114"
So does the same go for the guy I'm trading wheels with? He's got an infiniti with those wheels on them. Is there an adapter that goes for his car?

It will not work for neither car. Only way is like Sushi said with an adapter. Most adapters I've seen are 20-25mm adapters which will push the wheel outwards accordingly, so take that into consideration as well if you're planning to use adapters.
Many will argue that spacers that big (20mm+) will be unsafe and will put strain on the hub and/or your wheel bearings. Personally, I wouldn't use them, find a wheel with the correct bolt pattern made for your car instead.
