bored with my tC...considering RPF1s
Are you bored with you tC? Its been 5-6 months since my last modification, because I cant find a mod that really interests me. Every now and then i think about getting a new seat (Recaro SRD/Speed or Momo Street Racer), but then I lose interest. As a way of coping recently I've spent my money on video games and home theater electronics LOL.
Couple days ago I came across a set of 18x8 et35 Enkei RPF1s for sale locally (motivated seller). Its the same spec as dodaddy's (pic below). I like how RPF1s look straight-on, but they dont look good from angles. I would keep my SSRs if I got these.
the seller wants more than a grand for the GTC01s (wheel on the right), so I'm not interested.
dodaddy's RPF1s
looks good straight on
not so good from different angles

my tC from about 5 months ago, which was probably the last time I washed it. it looks the same now...just dirtier.

I like how the spokes look on these RPF1s. Obviously the lip looks nice, but I like how the spokes are flat. Higher offset / narrow RPF1s have spokes that curve out from the center then curve in at the ends, which makes me reconsider getting them. The curvature is more noticable on 18's than 17's, but I wouldnt get 17s unless it was a crazy good price.
