Drag radials / slicks
So I'm looking for threads that have any info on good track Radials/slicks and been coming up empty. So need your guys help.
I'm looking for a specific tire size. But I think this thread could be usefull if any one has experiences with certain brands.
So my question is I have 300 whp w/ (2) 17x8 WORK wheels. Just looking for the size that will be best for my set up. I'm lowered on H-TECH
I know bfgoodwrench g-force is good.
And I also don't understand HOOSIERS sizes.
Again if anyone has the same qustions about there set up jump in and ask. And to anyone that has input. I thank you in advance.

Hoosier makes a drag radial that will work.

Will the 245/40/17 work with out ay modifications? For example fender rolling, removing inner fender liners? I'm looking at getting 17x8 for street wheels, I'm also lowered on H-Techs. I also plan on getting 15x8 for the track what size drag tire would you reccomend for that?
^^ yeah i was looking at getting 17x8's too, after some thought the 17"s would be too little sidewall. i looked around on summitracing.com and i found these for a 15x8 wheel,

They arent slicks per se, but i will probably use drag radials and not all out wrinkle walls, and idk if you were thinking the same?
Anyways, they have a diameter of 23.7" (stock 215/45/17 are around 24.6") and a section width of 9". it says the recommended wheel size is between 7.0 and 9.0 inches so 8.0" would work.
As for the wheel offset you could probably get away with a 35-40 id think, considering most people run 18x8 et35 all day.
hopefuly that helps

Well. I ended up buying 225/40/17
bfgoodwrench t/a gforce.
With the power I'm putting down I expected to spin some in second. But to my amazment. No spin in second. It was awesome.
Just thought IDE throw that out there.
