Good looking s2k. eff that silver Z with the SBC rpf1's.
Got to get to looking around to see what kind of powdercoating colors closely match the SBC and just force myself to re-coat brand new wheels.
Regular silver paint is cheap looking. I'm not settling, i'm getting black chrome RPF1's one way or another.

lol I will paint stockies all day but i'm not buying RPF1's and rattlecanning them. Plus theres no way to spray SBC, it's a dual stage I believe.
If I was a betting man I would say Enkei's process to them is polish the wheel in raw form, then put a few coats of trans black on em. Then clears
I could possibly but them and strip them, then polish (ogod) and pay a shop to gun the trans black coat on them, but i've called around and painting is going to cost me about $100/wheel.
I might just actually be better off seeing if Enkei can custom make me a set. I need to call them. But now i'm venturing too deep into price per wheel where I could just get some sick Works for cheaper.
AHHH

Had a bit of trouble finding the right number to ask my questions, but it's 1 800 875 3100
And their closed on weekends.
Things are looking up though, I found an auction on ebay for some FN01RC's for dirt cheap used. 17x8 35mm but in plain silver. If I get them cheap enough i'll do the SBC love to them and call it a day.
I think i'm going to end up getting the FN01RC's in bronze and getting some red blox forged lugs

Still i'll be saving $70 by buying the FN01RC's, and i'll get a decent color while still getting the right offset.
I'm thinking about getting bronze. Done silver wheels, done black, done gunmetal twice, so I think i'll give bronze a whirl.
I refuse to buy the enkei's in silver cause making them the color I want is going to cost me too much, and i'm failing on the cost/effectiveness ratio that I stand by lol

PMd you
just found out I can get the fn01rc's in my size and offset in hyper black, pretty excited about that. Someone local is selling his in 18in hyper black with good tires for 750, just wish they were 17

lol you're more ballsy than me, I would sht a diamond if I had a fat run start coming down my brand new wheel.
I am just going to stick with the 5zigens. Hopefully in hyper black, but if not i'll have to settle for bronze. Should match the car alright. Better than silver, flat black, and flat black with a red stripe.
Then again flat black with the red lugs would be pretty snazzy. Opinions?

flat black with red lugs would look alright, dont over do it though. (calipers, lugs, and pinstripe would prob be a little much)
as far as runs go, its not really a big deal, just wait till it dries, sand it down, then re-paint it.
if you think thats bad...i was gonna drop $1800 on some works and rattle can them.

You think flat black with the red lugs would look better than bronze with red lugs? Or polished front with red lugs? I need opinions, lol
HA @ painting the works with a spray can. Unless you planned on doing them in takata green, then I agree with it.
