Default Exel Daytonas making my RS look high-class

Well, I picked up some new wheels over the weekend. My friend bought a WRX that was salvage and repaired that came with the rims. They rubbed on him and he did not want 18"s so he took them off and put on stock WRX wheels. A few months later, he wrecks that one and buys a new WRX and planned on selling these. Well, summer turned into next summer which turned into yet another next summer because he didn't need the money from them right away and still doesnt so I can buy them off by month with no interest. So here are wheels that have been sitting in a shed for a year and a half.

18" Exel Daytonas in silver (I know exels are imitations)
225/40-18 Hankook Radial K106

I don't care what brand they are as long as they look good.

Those look great on your RS2.0.

Nice big lip on them too.

Excel=High Class? That's an oxymoron. J/K so relax! I'm with krdshrk; as long as they look good, who cares about the brand. (There are degrees to this rule though.) Do you have any plans to lower it? My tC looked 100x better after a subtle TRD drop.

TRD drop when I can afford it. I know it will have it sit perfect, just no money now. I have a wedding next summer and it is already costing a lot of money. And also, tint will come as well, probably before springs. Between college, 30 hours of work, and wedding planning, I need to watch how I spend my money.

Hyghgynx - lol, I have read it all. Like I said, they LOOK high class. I am getting a hell of a deal ($100 a month until paid off) until I can move up in the world after next year.

Congrats on the wedding... thats a better investment than TRD springs anyway - marriage is awesome. Besides you will need the extra height to carry the loot away from your reception!

That's cool. I got a great deal on my Fliks. Maybe if you have a B-Day coming up or Xmas you can ask for the Springs. They're not that much. You and a buddy can install them. That would save you some $cratch right there. Good luck with the wedding plans!

I like mine too a lot! I just didn't want my 5Zigens to take a pounding again this winter. Last year I got a couple of nicks in them from rocks coming loose driving in the rain. I traded my stock tires for my Fliks. I couldn't pass that up!

I didn't go to Purdue but I'll drink a Boilermaker!

Judging by your age, you may have been a Senior when I was a freshman. Boiler UP!...haha, I do not think I ever said that before. I am more of a fan of Purdue's academics rather than their sports.

Thanks on all your comments. I love my car so much and I need a friggin' drop. lol

Heh.... I wasn't there long.. a whole year.. hehehe... I'm more of a fan of their Sports now, Lol.

A subtle drop like the TRD's would be good for you.
