Default Extended Studs

I wasnt sure if I should post this under wheel and tire, but I figured this would be a better place to post, done a lot of searching on SL but no luck.

Does anyone know where I can find extended wheel studs longer than 50mm for the tc? The only ones I could find were ichiba. I was looking for 60mm +

I know Ptuning has extended wheel studs. I'm not sure how long they are though.

x2
it took me a couple of hours but I got it done haha

It was the hardest thing I installed on my car (the front sway bar was a close runner up lol)...basiclly, I think if you could install new wheel studs you could install anything on the car lol

wheel studs are soooo easy, especially the fronts, i got both sides done in about 30 min (including taking off and putting back on the brakes).

are you using air tools?

and how did you install the studs?

so easy? this guy! lmao
I didn't use air tools which made everything more harder and tedious.

I hammered out the old studs and to install the new ones I bought a cheap open ended lug nut and tightened them in until the stud "sat" in the hub. It was a pain in the a$$, and I don't think I'll ever do it again lol
I did however use air tools to install the front hotchkis sway bar and everything went smoothly ...wish I did the same for the studs -_-

careful on those lugs. the thread pitch is the same but the knurl(the bottom part of the lug) is different for hondas and scions. hondas knurl is slightly smaller.
both honda and scion have 12x1.5mm lugs but the knurl is slightly smaller for hondas.

if it is slightly smaller it might not set in nice and tight. the knurl on scions and toyotas is supposed to be 14.3mm. honda is 12.3mm.

lol thats why.

when installing the studs, just get a bunch of washers, and a regular nut that fits on the studs (12x1.5) and tighten it that way with an impact gun. it gets teh job done quickly and easily

those PTuning studs are repackaged ARP studs ( http://www.arp-bolts.com/Catalog/Cat...atalog066.html ). really nice, but really expensive.

you can order individual studs from H&R, which are the same ones used on their spacer kits. theyre alot cheaper. http://www.hrsprings.com/applications/studs
you can only order them through authorized H&R dealers, not directly from H&R
