Default Falken Azenis treadlife

Ok, well i'm thinkin about upgrading to 18's and was lookin at some Falken Azenis for the tires. My question is, how long is their treadlife? I've had my tC for maybe 10 months right now, and i only have 4500 miles on it. So, i basically barely drive at all, just to and from school, yudda yudda. If i buy these tires, i'm probably gonna want them to last for a year, so am i set?

Im guessing you dont drive hard or anything.

BUT .. Falken Azenis dont have that great of a treadlife. Its a soft compound tire meaning its really sticky and a great handling tire. If you want to go with the falken ZIEX then that would be a different story. Those are more of passenger tires. But if your main concern is Treadlife then i would suggest looking for a different brand. Azenis is more of a Performance Tire rather than a Passenger tire. You sacrifice treadlife for performance or vice versa. Thats how its always been ..

i have the st115's and i heard they have bad treadlife even though they are rated at 360 treadwear. I still got them because i only put about 11,000 miles a year on my car.

yeah well, when i do get new rims, i just want anything better than the crappy stocks lol. And like i said, i don't drive LONG distances, but i do drive everyday, and i like to go have fun with my car. So in terms of miles with the tires, it'll be low, but occasionally goin in the canyons and around some bends is what i do regularly. I noticed that most people get the Pirelli Pzero's, falken Azenis, or Kumho Ecsta. I just want a really solid performance tire that isn't too crazy expensive.

pzeros are the most overated tires EVER... sure they are good, but they are way too expensive. a cheap tire that has great treadwear and performs good is hte GENERAL EXCLAIM UHP, the company is not well known, but they are alrite.

another tire you can look at is the BFGOODRICH G-FORCE SPORT, they have pretty good treadwear
