Default finally got some new wheels...

well i finally figured out what i wanted to put on my 08 sw tc, i went with the mb motorsports weapon wheel, 17x8 with a 46offset in bronze. it was the only offset they offered for the 5x100 bolt patteren and for the price im not complaining, they arent flush, but they are tucked either, i like them and when spring comes around ill have the lower fatter tires on it, but for now i was able to reuse the stock 215 45 17, figured they had such low mileage on them, might as well get my use out of them. and to be honest i have had the car now for 2 months, and im not rich, and i dont use credit cars, so everything i have done i have spent cash, lucky for me i have ran across some great deals on here. heres afew quick pics, im going to be taken alot more this weekend, and just so you know if you are asking, discount tire had the wheels and told me they wouldn't fit, but they fit great, no rubbing at all. i got the whole set with lugnuts and billet hubring spacers for 589 shipped to my door, cant beat that for some 17x8's. so if interested you have to order by brand, not by car.

yeah, it say tow here, afew of us here installed them to be different, and rather then just put them in, we had stickers made, its funny to have people ask what it is, we just look at them and say "a tow hook", then they ask what for, it gets old explaining, but its the first thing folks say when they talk about me or my buddy...." you know that guy with the tc with the tow hook...."

only difference is mine doubles as a tow hook and a cup holder

Yeah man, those do look clean! Good job!

We already discussed spacers in the other thread. So if you want them more flush, you know what to do.

yeah, im def getting some spacers and a beer...haha thinking just some 5mm, that puts them at 41offset and should put the wheel right at where it needs to be, the wheels still sit in alittle cause i havent bought and installer camber kits yet, once i do that with the 5mm they should sit pretty close without rubbing

Very nice. I was considering these wheels, and now that I have seen them on a tC, they are as good as bought.

i was choosing between these and the alt rush 362's. and the reason i got these was cause they were alittle cheaper, lighter, and came with lugnuts. and just to help you when you order, my car has the air pressure sensors so i didnt waste the 12 bucks on valve stems, but if you need them, they come with the wheels weather you buy them or not, they were boxed up with the centercaps....haha, just so you know. ill post up close up pics tomorrow

yeah, they are alittle, not as bad as i thought, figured with only 7000 miles on them might as well get my use out, plus im putting some good tires to run autocross next year and being that there is one more race here this season, dont feel like dropping 600 on tires to be wearing them out during the winter

i had it made, being that my car is white, the whole sticker is red, and just had the letters cut out of it to show the white through it, a buddy has a dark color xb with his hook in and the same sticker, looks sharp showing off the color of the car, i just took the tow hook out yesterday, but the sticker is still on there pointing to the circle cap, i love it, ill go take a pic and post it shortly
