anyone have pics of their flint mica with gloss black stocks?

 

anybody?....or will i be the first to do this?

Did you get them done or did you paint them yourself?

 

thanks, i did them myself with some help from a friend of mine, we took the wheels off, sanded, cleaned, and painted in a heated garage, and then clear coated them

 

so i take it from the lack of pics that when i paint mine black i'll be the only one whose done it

 

hehe nah, theres a few people here that have done it, i just doubt theyve seen this thread. try seachin tho im sure you'll find some. looks pretty good. id also say if your gonna do yours on your fm try to leave a silver "lip" to separate the black from the FM, i think that would look really good. i wish i did that before i did my wheels. but im redoing mine next week (gm again)

 

i got mine painted . just take your time and mask everything off really well. use some high heat temp paint.
