every one tells me in nuts to get rid of volks for dan gardner rpf1's. want peoples opinions.

 

I'd keep the Volks.

 

I would get the rpf1s

 

well im def gettin the rp's, ive been a fan of rp's ever since i knew wat they were, mainly cuz they are so light weight, my volks are light to and besides my volks are 18's and i like 17's.

 

Yea I debated about 18s and 17s for a while. The pros and cons are pretty much on a equilibrium but yea 17s are lighter and comfier. Where are you getting your RPF1s?

 

bryan aka bdis3. hes one of my best friends. i was actually gonna go with the rp's or fno1rc's but 17x8.5 with 30 offset is nice. i like my volks but i really think they are over rated.

 

what are your volk's specs 18x7.5?

 

yea 18x7.5. im really wanting to run star specs on the rpf1's wen i get them in but i kinda have 2 projects goin at the same time, my car and my atv so i cant really spend 600 on tires so im goin with the hankook ventus evo's. i seen reviews on them and they placed second in the tire shootout. i think i need to make a build thread for my car.

 

i prefer volks.. but if you want something smaller then yea sell them and pick up the rpf1's ... i prefer 17s then 18s any day

hah you guys are funny. bryan you are the ish your my idol. nott ive wanted rp's since before i knew you but you happen to have them wen i want them the most. i may get these wheels powder coated bronze. wat do you think of that???

 

RPF1s has hands down the better fitment. IMO, go for it. As for the color, just paint it white like the rest of these goofballs.

 

eh i like either bronze or black more than anything on silver.

 

The volks look nice. Might as well just stick with something with nice quality and looks.

Are you going for straight up looks or performance?

In your case:

Looks = Volks

Performance = Enkei RPF1

Your weight might be close but you'll be able to safely fit wider tires on the RPF1.

 

well thats pretty much the main reason i want the rp's. the fitment is perfect and i do plan on running a wider tire grip driving ftw.
