finally someone posts pics! haha.. very very very nice... :D GO WITH IT!! i was thinking the same but i just wondered how itd look; and it looks awesome! what kinda gold did they come out as? any daytime shots?
I dont have a DIY made up but heres some basic directions
You will need:
sandpaper
stack of index cards
bondo (if you have curbed rims)
duplicolor wheel paint (2 cans of white, 2 cans of gold, 2 cans of clear coat)
sand down the rims, not alot, just scuff it up so that paint sticks better, if you have curbed rims, sand down the curb, and refinish it with bondo, then resand so its smooth to the touch
clean it very well, i just used water
stick index cards overlapping between the rim and tire
spray the rims white, using almost all of the 2 cans
spray the rims gold using about 1.5 of the cans, if you want a deep bronze color, use gunmetal instead of white base coat
clear coat the ____ out of the rims after dry
i waited for the paint to be dry to touch between each coat
allow adequate time to dry before remounting rims.
pretty basic, just make sure u spend time doing each step.
i've had it for awhile now and its very durable, even through scrubbing and washing
im sure im missing something so just post up any questions
thanks for comments guys

Nah it was def. duplicolor gold, high heat engine enamel i believe, they dont make a gold wheel paint, but def use the white wheel paint for the base coat, or some kind of wheel paint for the base coat. i got all my stuff at autozone
well my friend i have decided to wait a lil iam gonna sell these old rims that i have and get the money to drop my car (btw what kind of springs do u have on that) then when i do that ill have the time to paint them otherwise ill do it too quick and ____ it up.
