I just ordered these rims for my wifes TC we just ordered. They are backordered from tirerack right now. I will post pics once the car gets here and the rims along with the cars ride height on the Tein Coilovers.

 

Too bad Tire Rack only sells these in a REALLY high offset for the tC.

An 8.5 with the 45 offset Tire Rack offers will stick out ~0.9 inches from the stock 17x7 +48. That might rub on anything lower than TRD.

 

yeah that's what i was guessing, except for the ~0.9in part, idk about calculating it to that degree. LOL

i think they'll look fresh tho, just would have been better with a 8" width and +35 offset. what width and offset are the enkeis that he has on now??

 

I plan on runnning some aggresive camber. I am use to high offset my current offset on my car is +48 and I am lowered on coilovers and run about -1.5 camber but my car see track time on a roadcourse and auto-x. I plan on doing the same with the tc after all the suspension mods. And I got 17x7's in the gram lights so hopefully no rubbing issues.

 

if you rub with 17x7 i need to know what you're doing. must be dropped like 3" or more, lol.

 

That might be possible haha. We did order some Tein SS-P coilovers for the car.

 

The stock tC wheels are 17x7 +48 and Tire Rack sells the Grams in 17x7 in only the 50 offset. The new wheels will sit 2mm further in than the stock. You can be fully dumped and not worry about rubbing.

 

don't have to work about road debris hitting them either, LOL. they'll be too far in, j/k

 

My BBS's have a really high offset too... :\ I'm going to have the offset changed though.

 

This is the wifes car so sitting in is a good thing haha
