HELP!
tirerack.com as well. Depending on what tires you are looking for either one of the two mentioned here have good prices. I just ordered Avon Tech550's from tirerack yesterday for $103 a peice.. which is a great price for a great all around tire. Try to decide which tire you want and then check both sites to see which has the better deal. I havent found better prices than these two.
my tC eats tires like crazy im on the second set now almost to the third. my car has 25k on it. i dont burn out or anything like that i do take turns a little hard though. however, its the center of the tires that are wearing out the outter edge and the side walls are fine does anyone else have these problems?
Like I said, that issue is almost always due to overinflation alone. Outer edge wearing, feathering, scalloping, etc are signs of various other issues with camber, toe adjustment, etc. but running a higher pressure than recommended will cause the center to wear faster than the rest of the tire.

It really depends on the time and what specials they are running as well as what brand you want. For example, discouttire does not stock Avons (Which I just ordered) and thier pirelli pzero neros are $9 a peice higher than tirerack. You could probably go back another time and find the pirellis cheaper on that site.. so it is always good to shop around, especially on something like this.
Hmm what about these for tires? Nice and cheap and it got some good reviews, but some bad ones as well...

51 is the MAX pressure for the tire. That is exactly why your tires are wearing that way. Run 29 rear, 32 front. Those are from the cars documentation and factor in the weight of the car. Run those values and your tire wear issue is solved.
