Default Help me find some rims

well i just got done paying my car off, and the first big thing i wanna do is get new rims. But i cant find any that i really like. Im pretty set on gunmetal, or at least something similar to gunmetal. i drive a FM tc, and looking for 18's, or possibly 19's. I like the mesh look, but i also like the 5 spoke and am open to pretty much any style.
im looking to spend roughly 1000-1300 for the wheels and tires. Im in high school with not alot of money so please dont tell me to get expensive wheels.

the only ones that ive found and kinda liked so far are:
http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=17307 -never heard of nexo and the low price makes me iffy

http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=15546 - same as above

http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...2+%2D+Machined -i think tenzo is a good brand, but idk about the color and have never seen it on a tc. if anyone has any pics of it on a tc, preferably fm that would be awsome

http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...667#prodAnchor

LMK what you guys think and please recommend me some other good rims.

That brand isin't all that great If your going to spend over a grand you might as well get some good wheels.

those Tenzo's would look hot on your car. Look around i'm sure you'll find something good.

a couple of questions. are you still on stock suspension and running stock wheels? if so, id go with suspension first? at the least, get some springs. save a bit and search on the Subaru forums for some better "used" wheels since they have the same bolt pattern as us? stick with 18s.

yes, stock wheels and suspension. and i want to get some springs, but my parents are very against it, and since i still live in their house and they paid for some of my car i have to kinda listen to them. maybe some trd springs though...

and thanks for the tip, ill check out the subaru forums

stock height?

1.2-1.3k on wheels / tires?

paint the stocks. no point in wasting the money. You'll either get mediocre rims with crap tires or good tires with crap wheels.

Painted stockies look better than alot of these "cheap" rims people get just to change the look. And most of the cheap rims look cheap as well. Im actually a fan of Tenzo, not the best, but they arent bad as well and some rims actually look great. Its going to be hard to get a nice look on your car with new rims and no drop.

if thats your budget i say wait a little while longer and save more. You just finished paying off the car right? use taht extra money you know longer have to pay each month for your car and throw that into savings.

Or use it to lower the car a bit.

Have you tried looking at edgeracing.com? They usually have pretty good prices on all their stuff. i just bought a wheel and tire package there for around $700. Might wanna give it a look, see if they have anything you want imho.

I also wouldnt wanna buy anything from wheelmax, have heard a lot of bad things about the rims they sell. Do a quick google search and you'll see what i mean.

i looked through edgeracing, found a couple that werent bad, but nothing that just wowed me.
and really, i dont wanna drop a couple thousand for rims and tires. anything over 1.5k is too much. and i would only spend that if i found some that i really loved.

who knew it would be so hard to find rims. i just want gunmetal, with a polished lip, 18 inch.

At least comvince your folks that TRD springs are from the factory/dealer. Do that first and you'll be much happier with the look of your car (maybe even with the stock wheels) and then decide on wheels.

Remember..you drive a tC..not a forerunner
