Default help with a pothole please

so last night i hit the biggest pothole ever.. it wasnt only me there were about 5 cars that were pulled over on the side with the same problem...

my right tire popped and i got it changed at a local tire shop... they did the wheel alignment the tire is different though i have stock rims with stock bridgestone. my right tire was replaced by like a kohma tire... my problem is the car drifts a little bit to the left while driving.. and my rim doesnt look bent. soo before i take it to a mechanic id like to know what you guys think i should do.. btw its a 2006 scion tc

thanks guys

i had the same problem...i hit a bad pot hole...looked at my rim and thought it was fine...i got a new tire from les schwab...and i brought my car back to have that tire balanced 4 times in about 3 months before they noticed it was because the rim was in fact bent...i even had the guy bring me backa and show me...i would bring it back and have them check it again to see if its bent...if they're sure its not then have them check your tire for round

check you hub and bearing assembly... if you hit it hard enough, that'll mostly likely need to changed.

i took the tire our and swapped it with my left front tire to see if it truly was the tire... and my car started drifting in the opposite way.. so i guess there is something wrong with the tire or rim but i cant tell if its the rim.. the rim looks perfectly straight i even placed it on the ground and it was perfectly flat... the tire however is a different brand from the other 4... do you guys think that could be the cause of the problem?? having a different tire?

if you say you put a new tire on the right front and now it drift's to the left? it's because the tread is new on the right side and the left side isint so new... also is your left front tire different then the new one you put on? ( sorry i totally forgot what you posted lol)

i was planning to hit the tire shop 2m, and align all 4 tires. then replace the used tire with a brand new one. do you guys think that might solve my drifting problem? and also if the problem is the rim what are my options?

this is true for at least upstate, if the hole is x number of inches deep or somthing is sticking up x number of inches and you damage something then the whomever is in charge of the street is at fault.... my friend bent his civic rim and i think if memory serves me right it was 1.5" the man hole cover had to be sticking up.... one thing around here that gets me is they tear up the road and dont mark it..... bad enough in a car... hit a lip that is 4" up on like a 45 deg. angle on a bike!

basicly what i'm saying is it might be worth your shile to get some pics and make a few calls

Thought you allready had it aligned, also you should never run run 3 of 1 tire and 1 of another. it should always be 4 of the same or 2 of one and 2 of another. having 1 bridgestone on 1 side and 1 kumho on the other side will also cause a slight drift because those 2 tirs have a differnt tread patterns..
