Default hotchkis plus 18's help

Looking at getting the Tenzo Dc6 V2..Im on a hotchkis drop!
They are 18X8 with a 35 and 45 offset. Which offset? Would it rub or fit?

And which size tires would be right? (looking for something slim so I don't rub)
Wheelsnext says 225/40/18 so i dunno.

Pending on the issues.. I might just drop down to 17s. However 18's would be nice.

Thanks guys!

u might want to get 225/35/18. 40 could be too much rubber.

225/35/18 would be better ! and the tire diameter is gonna be smaller by 0.3 inch than the 17's....

haha...alright, but it does give 18x8 with a 40 offset (and says "minimal" rubbing). so i think its safe to say 45 offset is less than "minimal".

it'll be pushed out a little bit compared to stock.
try looking here
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
from stock is 17x7 45 offset just in case. if it extends about 15 mm, i think that'll be flush enough.

225/40/18 + 35, depending on tread width you MIGHT rub, If you have questions on what may fit, PM dieselstation, he's running that setup. It sits FLUSH with the body lines

This is what an 18x8.5 +35 offset with 225/40 18 tires looks like...

This is with a TRD Drop. (1.25" drop all-around.) You might be able to get away with it with minimal rubbing. If you were going with 8.5" width, I'd say no way.

+45 offset will 'sit' back more into the wheel wells, but you will have less chance of rubbing.

18x8 with a 35 offset i think would be ok. you may rub a little on bigger bumps. i'd run a 225/35/18 though to minimize that chance
