Default How Low Should a TC Be?

I just bought an 05 TC and mine is lower then my friend wich are 06 + 07 they think its lowered im not sure, how high is the lip to the ground?

First off, congratulations on the tC purchase even though it's nearly eight years old from the born-on date so I hope it doesn't have too many miles. Second, this would be a great thing to Google Image. Third off, yours may or may not have a lip kit, that could be why it looks lower. Fourth off, you didn't mention rim size. If you have bigger rims, that could appear to be lower as well. So having said all of that, if your rims sizes are the same then you need measure the top of the wheel to the fender well. That is your true definition of how low you are. But, if you really want the true measurement of who's lowest, you measure from the top of your fender (where the hood meets your fender) to the ground. Rim size and lip kits will get you everytime, but that don't mean sh*t. But like it said, look at Google Images at stock tC's.

look at the springs.. if they aren't black.. then i'd venture to guess they aren't the stock springs.
