Default I need help from you wheel gurus!!! 18x9.5 5x100 38et

Trying out another set of wheels.. I've tried that offset calculator on 1010tires and what not, but it doesnt seem to match what others have said are flush.. Or could someone break it down for me? I've also searched for members w/ 18x9.5 rims, but they didn't have their offset listed..

Sounds about perfect for a wide tire actually. You going with 245's?

i have 18x8.5 et30 up front. at et45 I'd be afraid the wheel and tire would rub against the suspension.

Arg..nevermind then. I was eyeing the Gram Lights 57 Maximum in the Time Attack theme..but after seeing it in person today, and the issues I might deal with..definately not worth it

I'd run that setup in the rear. my current setup (with a 5mm spacer) sticks out 1mm more than what youre proposing.
up front, it'll poke out too much.

yeah, you might run the 9.5 in the rear... I got my 19x9.5 in the rear with the 35 offset. Sits flush than a mother...

How extreme did you guys have to roll your fenders? Also did you find yourself raising your car up a bit?

Roll my fenders? Was I supposed to? I didn't roll them, I hardly rub, and I'm on the S-tech drop

my rear fenders are rolled flat with slight flare action going on. after i put on the spacer I had to raise it alittle. currently I'm running 1.5 fingers in the rear, but I've been thinking of dropping again to half a finger. luckily i'm on coilovers. i also put rubber spring spacer blocks in between the coils to prevent them from compressing too much. it made my ride super stiff. when i originally had it down to 0.5-1.0 finger gap, the tire was rubbing/wearing away the bolt (located along the fender lip, above the mud flaps holes) that holds the rear bumper. i'd imagine it would have eventually worn away the bolt completely and i wouldve needed zip ties to hold the bumper on LOL
