Default I need lugnuts.

Does anybody know where i can find some weds sports lug nuts at on the net? My weds are on the way and i dont have any lugs to put on that will fit properly? Im preferably looking for black ones similar to the buddy club ones. Has anybody used the buddy club lugs and would they be good for a set of weds sports wheels?

first of all wedsport does not make lug nuts.

second of all you will need a chonical lug nut so you best bet is getting a mcguard, rays, work or even kyogen or zenkei or motegi. you can also use skunk2's

my recomendation is either rays, mcguards, or works as they come in black like you wanted. if they dont fit your budget skunk2 or zenkie's would be your best bet.

look at mines for examples:

I just bought some Advan GR2's and need locking lugs in Black. I heard that the McGuard's have that ring around them to prevent thieves from the Hammer technique. I read some where on here. I want the safest / secure lugs. I know that if a pro wants them they WILL get them, so there is no actualy fool proof way, but i would want some feed back on those of you about the quality reliablity of these type of lugs.

Thanks...

16 of the 20 Rays and Work lugs can be removed with standard sockets (or longer sockets for the extended lugs). so any thief can jack the non-lock lugs for their 4 lug Honda/Scion/etc. the metal is softer so you can hammer a socket over the lock or use channel locks/pliers for the extended lugs. people would steal the lugs, not the wheels.
these lugs are great for saving weight, but not good for security.

i bought a set of Rays extended lugs, but chose not to use them because of security issues. i would have gotten the Gorillas with the security ring, but (at the time) they were only sold in packs of 4. Which means I would have needed 5 packs/5 different keys to replace all the lugs.

actually your best bet is a set of mcguards. ive seen gorillas fail and misthread many studs in my lifetime and i would not recomend them.

mguards use a spline drive which makes it hard to hammer over a socket and try to spin it around. the rays are a little easier but also please note the 2nd locking nut uses a 7 sided pattern which no standard socket fits unless you really pund it in, in which once its pounded it it would also have some small sping because of its od wall sides.

mcguards, rays or works all are great and provide good security.

your best bet is a set of mcguards or rays in black.. but no matter what there is always way to take off a wheel no matter the lug.
