My New Volks

My New Volks
Just thought I'd share some pics of my new Volk GT-P's. I got the new wheels on last weekend and finally got around to washing it. They're 17x8's (+41 offset) with BFG 225/45/17 tires. I wanted to go with a wider/lighter setup and didn't want larger diameter rims (I'm more concerned with the performance aspect of the wheels )
The 45 profile is a little taller than the stock 215/45 but I was afraid the other option, 235/40, might be too wide and rub if I lowered the car further. Let me know what you guys think....

looks good. definitely get 235/40 in the future. i am on those same size wheels and tires and dropped even lower than you are and i dont rub. i even run a more aggressive offset and i still dont rub (+32)

Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate it!
I was waffling about the tire choice but I think I went the best way especially since I've put over 51k miles on it in just under two years. The side wall isn't that much larger than stock, 4.5 mm and road feel can always be adjusted by tire pressure (which is better done with a little more volume anyway). But the grip is way better than stock! I'm sure I'll wear them out in a year or so though and then try out the 235/40's.
oh, and....
... nice Volk knock-offs.
