Default my steering wheel has parkinson's....

yup, once hit about 80 mph it starts to shake.
just got aftermarket wheels [btw]
got hub centric rings.....
still shakes.
they said they balanced them but idk if they did a good job.
any other way this would happen?
also they broek one of my tire pressure sensors, if i recalibrate will it stay off or am i going to have to buy a new one?
thanks!

if "they" broke it, "they" should fix it. were hub centric rings necessary for those wheels? make them re-balance them again or go slower than 80mph, go the speed limit.

i got my old ones taken off tires taken off and put on my new rims and balanced and put back on for 40 bucks.
it was a pretty sketchy place but my friend knows the people.
and who goes the speed limit?

I have not seen any 80 mph highways in Texas. Besides, slow down, save gas, don't increase my insurance rates.

can u borrow any other tc wheels to test it out? The only thing come to mind is the balancing. It should not be too hard balance a wheel, becuase most shops hire High School students to do it.

im starting to think it's the balancing but not sure.
probably just going to get them balanced because it's so cheap and go from there.

Well going back and rereading..

If they broke on of your sensors they have to pay for it..I would have brought that to there attention immediately.

Another thing - I'm assuming the rims and tires were new? So that would most likely rule out bad tires or bent rims (although it's possible)

get them rebalanced for sure and go after that shop to replace the TPMS they broke.

i would but they're like "mexican" not to be racist and don't speak english.
my friend who i spanish helped me get a good deal with them.
the sensor can wait for now.
i guess i'll rebalance them and see how it all goes.
*btw* tires have about 8 - 12k miles on them but still good amount of tread.
i understand "i shouldn't speed" but this problem was never hear before so driving slow and ignoring it really isn't an option for me.

so tell your spanish speaking friend to go back to the shop with you and tell them to replace it. I wouldn't shell out a penny for someone else's mistake like that.

But whatever..it's your money.

It's not off topic if you yourself was talking about it. You need to calm down and learn a thing or two. Get your wheels balanced (high speed balanced) and chill the 3 year old routine.

Try rotating the front wheels to the back, It might fix your steering wheel issue, but still you will feel some shaking in the back of the car. I have the same problem (not with the sensor, but with the balancing) I took my wheels for balancing about three times and no result, I think It might be the tires.
