Well you guys know tons more about rims than I do so here it is. I have been thinking about picking these O.Z. ultraleggera rims up after I get my tax returns.
Offset: 48mm
Backspacing: 6.41"
Bolt Pattern: 5-100
Rec. Tire Size: 215/45-17
Weight: 17.0lbs.

What do you guys think of them? Are they a decent rim? And do you have any other suggestions.

whats so bad about it? Now I tried reading about rims and offset and such, but I need all the help I can get.

 

You want an offset closer to 35.

 

I will also be on H&R coilovers, so I do not want rubbing.

And can a spacer help out with the offset in my favor?

 

Spacers lower the offset, which makes a wheel more flush with the fenders.

 

So with this 48mm offset that is on the rim will it stick inside the wheel well?

 

Yes. The placement will look similar to stock wheels.

Find something closer to 40. It'll look better, but they're still tucked in.

OZ wheels are good. I'd rock 'em.

Agreed on the offset. Those are some light weight wheels.

 

So how big of a spacer would I use to make it look a little better. Im sorry for the questions guys im new to the tire game, and you guys are the best to ask.

 

Maybe a staggered fit. A little wider in the front than in the rear?

 

I'd recommend 15mm, but I don't trust such large spacers. Just get wheels that fit or put a 5mm on there.

 

Ro_Ja would you recommend a tire similar to the OZ that I mentioned above?

 

I'm presuming the wheel is 17x7 or 17x7.5. Either way, the recommended tire size is fine unless you want larger tire (225's).

 

i had actually really considered these rims before my raderwerks, for the price you can get something much better (If they are still 300+ on Tirerack)
