good to know, im going to pick up some steelies on wendsday while im at the yard, i want something fresh and new and id rather have nice tires on cheap wheels than expensive wheels with cheap tires.
im going to run beauty rings and long lugs, no caps, ive got a ton of parts to put on this spring+ dont want to worry about buying $150+ low pro tires that only last me 15k miles

I'm pretty sure Spec steelies are straight off the Camry, except the for the scion caps.
Usually only seen on snowy roads, I had no idea that others actually preferred steelies.
One of the things I've been meaning to get to...I'll try to post up pics of my graphite painted steelies on a new thread when I find a new host site. (I last used Scionpix, so any recommendations? Photobucket?)
Murphy, Beetle rims, really? I'd like to see if they are any less hideous than Toyota steelies
ecks, any idea what that tC is lowered with? Oh wait lemme guess, is it Rigid !?
DJ, all the cool kids roll 205/55-16 ... but you already knew that

ive been looking at lots of different steelies, trying to cross reference bolt patterns and get the look i want, ive even considered VW GTI's. theres lots of cool 5x100 wheels out there that arent aftermarket, OEM stock to different makers
