So I'm definitely a noob when it comes to wheels..I plan on being dropped on racelands within the next 2 weeks(cheap i know,but I dont drive hard at all) and am looking to get some rims soon as well.

I'm going for a murdered out look and want a flush stance. Looking for some 18"s possibly 17"s with a decent size lipped and I want it all black,no chrome/polished lip or pinstripes but I can't find them ANYWHERE!

If anyone can send me in the right direction, a site or actual set of rims like this I'd appreciate it so much. I've spent every single lunch break at work the past few weeks browsing the aftermarkets rims thread here for ideas and tons of tire sites but havent found what I want in there, so believe me I HAVE USED THE SEARCH TOOL.

Or...would buying a set of rims I like then getting them powdercoated be a bad idea? Looking to spend no more then 1400~

Three questions before we proceed...

are you willing to rub at all? do you plan on rolling fenders? how much negative camber are you willing to run?

 

Willing to rub..possibly,dependant on costs and umm not too familiar with camber but don't wanna have to change tires too often(suggestions?)

 

question 4.....how much money you gonna spend,there are cheap rims and then there are spendy rims and everything inbetween.....knowing htat will help find a set,also you like the lip we got that and all black,RPF1s are nice like that,also there are a lot of differant types to choose from in rims.

 

Looking to spend 1400,1500 max w/tires. I know about the rpf1s but already seen those quite a bit, not too fond of them tbh although some people do pull them off. I think I actually found what I want and...it turns out TheQuietThings actually sold them lmao(....).I didn't see the Axis decades on their site, I'm guessing they were discontinued?:<

Any info on those rims Quiet?

Also was kind of avoiding Axis because I believe it was on here that someone said that were crap quality.True/False?

 

So I've actually found some sites that carry the decades but with +35 and +40 offset...from my understanding I'd be tucked,not flush...which I guess I'm ok with as I really like them. Only other thing I'm wondering about is if powdercoating them black would be a bad idea?
