Question Need some help with rim size fitment

Before I get yelled at and am told to use the search button,..I did. lol only one person had this wheel size on here and I have waited but have no response yet. So if anyone could help me here (I know some of you can, yalls wheel setups are insane on here) I would greatly appreciate it. I have a buddy that just ordered a set of wheels, they are XXR and are 18x8.75 +20. Is this an even possible fit for the 05 tC. He said they were stated to bolt right up but it didnt sound right to me. Will he need to roll the fenderes, or maybe even pull them. IDk what to tell him. He is going to be running a 225-40-18 and he has a 2 inch drop. Thanks ahead of time wheel pros!

 i am going to go off on a whim here and say that he is stock ride height. The wheels will fit fine, prolly flush if i had to guess. I haven't run wheels that narrow in a long time so i don't really remember. You will be fine.

Yes they will fit. Dropped or not. He should probably run a 215/40 however. 225s won't be much of a stretch.
