Default New Rims, need advice!

hey all,

I don't post much on here...but I could use some help asap. I need new tires to pass inspection (doh) and figured I am going to go ahead and get new rims as well. I have an 06 FM tC and am thinking of either the XXR 962s in gold, or the Enkei EV5s in bronze.

2 questions.

1) Which do ya'll think would look better on a flint mica tC.
2) have any of you dealt with wheelfire.com or tirerack.com, and what do you think of those sites?

I am open to other suggestions for rims as well...but please don't just throw out random rims...I am on a budget (800 to 1000) and am really just looking for advice on the sites mentioned above.

Thanks guys!

Well I would go with the enkeis in bronze. The are better quality than the xxr's. As far as sites go; I would choose tirerack over wheelfire anyday. Maybe even try Wheelsnext.com. they have tons of great wheels and wheels packages. I would suggest rims but idk what you are looking for in a wheel...

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I have always thought a gold rim would like nice on FM...but wonder if its too flashy if it might look yellow. I also don't have many other exterior mods so it may look out of place?

If you have other suggestions I am more than willing to listen! I like 4 or 5 spoke and nothing too busy. The only issue I have with TireRack (although I haven't called them yet) is that they appear to only have the EV5 in 38mm offset...not 45 like we need...

You mentioned wheelsnext...good luck with that site in the past?

Tire rack has a lot of wheels but wheels next have more variety. They also have 2 shipping points and friendly customer service. Wheels next offers the enkei ev5 in both the 45and38 offsets. Some other basic 5 spokes that I like from there are the motegi racing mr116 or the tenzo tracer v1 and v2 which are both on wheelsnext.
