I know I've been super busy lately with school and my friend who is gonna have them mounted and balanced for free for me keeps delaying it. If there are no more delays, they will be on by Friday.

Yeah I'm also curious to why yours didn't fit. What was the size of the wheels and tires?

I am dropped on Hotchkis springs currently. The set of rims I had were the 2 piece with 235\40\18 18x8.5 42mm offset. They looked really good but I had to return them, I only drove around for a half a day with them on but they manage roughen my inner fender lining. Main reason why it didnt fit was the thickness of the tire. I didnt want to deal with test fitting new tires so I sent back the set for free and bought 18x7.5 42mm offset w 225\40\18s. No problems now.

50mm offset is pretty extreme, considering I rubbed on the outer fender lining with a 42 offset and /40/18 thick tire. I hope it works out for you bro.

i'm totally satisfied, only thing that bugs me is the ride is a little shakier and harsher than b4, but that's expected.

I hope you have hub-centric rings.

Thank you for not doing the 'black on black' combo! That's so played out. Looks good, looks clean. Congrats!

Depends. Does your car now vibrate at higher speeds? If so, then yes you need hub rings. Most aftermarket wheels need them.

well, I think it's actually ok at high speeds, the only thing was on like rougher roads, ( cuz the freeways in socal suck bad) the car was just wobbly and shaky kinda. I actually don't think i necessarily need them, but wud it hurt to have?

Could be that you just need to adjust to the new set-up. When I got my 5Zigens/Pirellis set-up, it took me about a week. Now it just feels stock.

wow 50 offset is high for our cars... I have 18x8 +37 in my Advan RGII's, with 225/40/18 and Hotchkis drop... ITs a wonder why you are not rubbing with those 245's.. but i can see you went with 35 instead of 40 which is more recomended for protecting your rim from pot holes. 35 tire is slimmer and you run the risk of damaging your rim with bigger bumps... just be careful if you see a pot hole..

On another note you could put some 5mm spacers on there to help you out with a wider stance and lining it up better with your fenders... Other than that they look great, and glad you went with the 2piece instead of the 1piece..

Oh and the hub centric rings you will most likely want to get to keep your alignment. I have not got mine yet, but it is deffinately recomended to get these.. i think the hub for the tc is 54.1 i think... the techs should know.. good luck

Later..
