Default new (used) rims for my tC- some basic questions

I was looking at getting some rims but I noticed they had a 48mm offset- would that work for the tC?

here they are
http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/617943517.html
or
http://duluth.craigslist.org/pts/639698282.html

also you can go ahead and tell me if they're crap kuz i'd like to know that too.

thanks for any help

one set is white GTsports (6spoke) and the other {{the ones i like beter}} = R-1 GTR-6 (18")

and both have a 48mm offset.

They don't mention the widths of the wheels, but I doubt they'll be any bigger than 7.5, so yes, they will both fit.

they are 18x7.5 with a 5x114.3 or 5x100 hole pattern with a 48 offset

They'll fit.

But if I was you, I'd try to find some wheels with a little lower offset like a 35
It would look a lot nicer

ummm... the r-1s are knock offs of really expensive awesome volks... a couple of guys on the site have them. R-1 is a knock off company, though i cant say anything about their quality

R-1s = Volk GT-P knockoffs.

But this is what they'll pretty much look like. It's my buddy Chris' tC.
