Default Opinions on Staggard fit wheels

I love staggard fit wheels and in my opinion, it gives the car such an aggressive look. Now normally you see staggard fit wheels on a RWD car but now you are starting to see them on FWD as well. I have seen a tC with staggard fit and a wide body and honestly it looked sick. What your opinions on putting this fit on a tC?

I say go for it. There are a few tC's on the forums running with staggered setups. The only problem will be you can't rotate your tires.

Who cares about rotating tires when your wheels are that hot!

Have you noticed a huge handling difference cause I know it will be reduced with the staggard fit?

Well... you are adding more traction to the rear, which is the exact opposite of what you need on a fwd car that typically pushes more than anything. It is for 100% looks, you cant rotate and handling will not be better (probably worse).

Depending on which wheels you choose, you aren't going to be adding more traction to the rear.

Axis has the "Maxis" rear lip, which gives the staggered look, without actually being staggered.

I'm running the Axid Decades with the Maxis rear lip, its still an 8inch wide rim, that just looks staggered. I like it, it doesn't improve handling an ounce though. If anything, the heaviness of the rims decreased handling, acceleration, and gas mileage. The size of the rims and tires also made comfort worse lol.

and here is a picture of the fake staggeredness...

The idea of the fake stagger is better at least, since you dont make the car more prone to understeer than it already is. Moda has some very nice looking fake staggered rims (not sure if they have the right sizes for the tC though) as well. The downside is that you still cant really rotate. I guess you can, but it would look a bit funny
