Default Opinions on this Wheel/Tire combination

I live in NY, and snow can be an issue, so I wanted to stick with 17inch rims and all season tires. Out of all the rims and tires I have looked at I think these will be pretty nice, but I wanted opinions if anyone has had first hand experience with these.

Tire - Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season
Wheel - 17inch TSW Vortex

I saw a few people on here with these rims, but I won't be going the larger route (as awesome as it looks) I rather have better handling and less weight with the 17inch. Also, I know a lot of people on here recommend the Toyo Proxy, but I also heard in the snow they suck ___. As long as these Goodyear Eagle F1's can perform as well as the stockies in the snow then that is fine with me.

Here is a quick photoshop I did with my car and the rims. What do you guys think of the tire and the rim choice? Anyone have these tires? If I hear good things these will be going on the car after the suspension upgrade.

Here is a better example of the rim. Sorry for jacking this pic, but I needed a real pic of the rim on the car. Anyone know if these rims are any good? I remember hearing that TSW had problems with bending - is that true? Also, anyone used these tires or at least heard anything about them?

plane propellers. Not to mention how small they make the brakes look.

Yeah the proxes4s are OK in the snow, but snow tires are always better (of course). I do like the Eagle F1 all seasons because of the kevlar sidewalls. I hear they are AWESOME for handling. I say you go for the Eagle F1 all seasons in the stock size (215/45-17) and then let us know how you like them. I think the tread would be excellent for snow and all season. Been thinking I might try them next time, but hey i think you'd like them.. let us know what you think of them!

How can you say those don't go with the car? Those pics look awesome (given they are a larger size)
