I'd like to know whats everyone's suggestion about painting the 17" alloy wheels the tC comes with?..
I eventually want to get nice shoes for my tC, but lets face it, right now is not the best time for me finacially, so I figured paintin them wouldnt be to costy, but still look good.
I was thinkin either black or white.
What do you guys think? & how much will it cost me?

That might work for you.
its been done, and it looks pretty good, do not paint them white though, id say a dark gunmetal would be best suited for your color car.
You can do them your self if you have a day or or worth of free time

hey I just painted mine - it's kind of a time-consuming process and shouldn't cost more than $50 to paint all four wheels. I used sand paper (320 grit at first, then 2000 grit after each coat of white and clearcoat), 3 cans of white dupli color wheel paint, 2 cans of dupli color wheel clear coat, 1 roll of blue masking tape and some newspaper. the process takes a full day (I spaced it out over a week), but I like it.
I hear keeping them clean and white is a real pain though! if that ends up being too much trouble, I'll just repaint them black.

I went to get an estimate today & this shop told me $225. They "dip" the whole rim. I'm hesitant on doing it on my own with the Dupli-Color products b/c I dont want it to come out all messed up lookin.
powder coat is more resistant to nature and usually more expensive and you cannot powder coat plastic stuff (so most lip/body kits)
If you are up for a road trip I'm fairly sure my sponsor can do better than that but I will ask

LOL. Yea i've pretty much cancelled out the white. I'm inbetween black or gunmetal. But if I get black, do u think it will become dull? I want them to be glossy.

Yea, my bf was tellin me bronze, but I dont know. I've always liked the black with white, but I do see now its getting over-rated. I just want a color that would look good for my car. Is the gunmetal a glossy color too or will it dull?
Sorry for all these questionssssssss.
