Default Painting brakes?

*I understand you cannot paint the friction area of the brake rotors.*
But i may be interested in painting the center, non-friction section area of the stock brake rotors. Also, painting the stock brake calipers... just to keep it from getting that weird corrosion/rust look.
Is there any tips, advice, or warnings about doing this? (ex: What kind of paint? What areas NOT to paint? etc..)
I'm sorry if there is already a thread for this.
*thanx

For the calipers, I used Duplicolor Caliper Paint from my local Pep Boys. That was roughly 8-9 months ago and it still looks good. I chose silver to look nice and subtle, but I think they offer red, blue, and yellow as well.

x2. Just don't forget to clear coat when you're finished. What color do you want to paint the center of the rotors?
