Default Pic request and tire recommendation

I got the Scion 18" upgrade rims(Enkei EMX Super 7) does anyone have any pics of those rims on your car with the stock springs?? I was wondering how it will look if it will need a drop so bad or it will loook fine.

And I am looking for tires I seem to like these ones any opinions of better tires??

when i first got them on, i hated how it looked. All tC's need a drop then by adding the 18's im sure it will. Nothing major maybe a set of TRD's will do. I dont have pics since it was soo long ago? I havent heard much on the Kumho's but if you have the money i would go with something better. Im not saying your being cheap but just letting you know dont be cheap when it comes to tires.

Go to tire.com and read some reviews on the tires?

then you will still have to pay for them to mount, ballance and install? It might just even out.

If you're looking for all seasons, I think the Kumho ASX (Ultra High Performance) is better rated than the AST (High Performance) you listed above. Also, I think starting the 12th TireRack is having $40 off when you buy 4.

88 each that cheap? I just want them to handle better than the stock yokos in the summer and rain since I dont take my car to the snow.

Here are some reviews on the Falken ZE-512 you were looking at
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...60&rd=18&ar=40

Also, here they are cheaper
http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/780/

If you don't need the tires for snow and you're in CA, why not look to some good summer tires, instead of the all seasons?

Edit: Maybe something like this would be around your price range and suit your needs in a summer tire? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=0
The user reviews seem good.

If I never had to worry about snow, I wouldn't even bother looking at all seasons.

RS's aren't lowered, they just have the 18s.

I know you can get tires cheaper online, but after the price you pay to mount and balance it, it ends up about the same. Plus, if you ever need to get a warranty repair on a tire (assuming they are offered online), you have to pay for dismounting and shipping back to the company, then mounting it back on again. I think it's easier and cheaper to buy from a store.

I just ordered some of those Falken ziex... haven't tried them yet, but one of the reasons I bought them is that they are about 1 to 1.5 lbs lighter than most other tires.

I had my tC delivered with 18s and I was set up with Nitto NeoGens, they worked pretty well on wet and dry surfaces...I tracked the wheels at Streets of Willow and they held up just fine especially in SoCal
