I need someones advice, help and opinion.

I am looking to get Rota Torque 18 x 9.5 +35 offset.
I have a stock scion tc, looking to put on 245/35 profile tires.

1) Will these fit?

2) If so what will i have to do to ensure there is no rubbing, ie fender rolling?

3) What is the max I can drop the F&R with springs? Or should I get coilovers?

4) Will I need longer wheel studs?

I am sorry if upset anyone off by asking so much questions, its my first time purchasing rims and I'm planning to keep it for some time. I just feel its always nice to gets someone opinion.

Also I live in Canada, do you have a website where I can order the rims, I use ebay but it doesnt have the colour I want..

1. those tires will be to fat so you will definetly need to roll your fenders.
2. Roll them fenders and stretch them tires!

i have the same rims, and im maxed out on raceland coils...rubs like a ****

your going to need fender rolling and pulling and some shaving as well to fit those. also camber. 9.5 and 245 tire is going to be a tight squeeze but can be done.

 

You actually don't need to go that wide...

 

What do you guys suggest? Should i go to 235 or 225?

I really want to make the car look aggressive and have a wide stance.

I also prefer to get the Rota Torque 9.5 because the rims look much more aggressive.

Is there i can fit a 235 tire on 9.5? Would that make it easier?

you still need to roll and pull and shave to fit those wheels with any type of drop. go 245s if you want, but know it is a long road to make them fit.

I can't find no where that rolls fenders here, its difficult. Found some vids of some others using a baseball bat and heat gun. Have any of you tried rolling their fenders?

 

i rolled mine with a baseball bat, hammer, hairdryer

 

yup I rolled and pulled mine.

 

hair dryer? does it get the paint hot enough?

 

Get some blue painters tape and a wooden flour roller...It's easier if you take off the fender and do it on a work bench.

 

I have these wheels wrapped in 225/40s, fenders rolled as much as possible, and dropped all the way on k-sports. They still rub on the bumper brackets. Im Trying to figure out how to shave/ move them correctly
