ok well i was wondering if there is anyone out there that has done polished stock wheels. just wondering cause i wast thinking about doing it and was wondering if anyone has any pics of polished stock wheels.

ok just using this as a example i mean like polished as in not like you clean your wheels and polished them but i mean like polished as in almost chrom looking.

my dealership sold some tc's with the stock wheels chrome to begin with..

 

yea true they came in chrome but im not looking to do chrome. just polshed wont be as ugly as chrome. but also chrome is heavy. polished wont be anywhere near as heavy as chrome would be.

 

chrome is just a layer like paint. it's not heavy. you just have to strip the paint off our stockers and get them dipped, or spend countless hours trying to hand polish them.

 

yea true but i have a friend that does it so i was curious to see what the stock wheels look like polished. or if anyone has the pics of teh stock wheels in chrome or polshed. please post them up. just mainly looking for pics is what im looking for just to see what they look like.

 

by the time you spend that money on getting your stockers stripped and dipped, you could have bought a new set honestly. I've seen the wheels in chrome before and they look hideous.

 

gotta agree........seen a set of chrome stockies before and they were awful........polished aluminum is gonna look like chrome too.......I did a short search and could not find the pictures of the car on here with them.......but it is here.

 

someone in chicago had em, they looked pretty tight.

Go Black! I am not a big fan of Chrome wheels, but its your tC. Save money by buying after market ones though!

I know i have seen someone on here with chrome ones on either SW or silver but I cant seem to find the pics. It looked pretty good
