Not to be rude or offend purpled_out_tC, but the Works are worth posting? Last I checked they aren't rare, expensive, or custom.

xd9's have a msrp of like 400 a wheel. so not quite expensive. expensive to me is 750+ a wheel. i dunno if they're worth posting because they're low end works but they're still works. its better than someone posting konig and saying they're custom

Oh, I see. Weksos must have a really good deal then. When I asked them a few weeks ago about them, they were selling the XD-9s for $800-900 for a set.

not when i bought mine they were, in the mid 1k range. they're expensive for most of us, i'm not putting 750/wheel on my daily. not if i lived somewhere where 18 wheels and rocks didn't rule the road then maybe, but i live in a CITY with people, a lot of them--some call it civilization.

honestly i didn't even pay attention to what thread i was in, dave asked for a pic and i posted. they're not custom or very expensive, but they are rare to see on a tC. other wise i think nebster's are the only wheels that would actually qualify if memory serves me right. that's not to say there aren't a lot of hot wheels in here though (HKS, pete came off the dome first), just b/c they didn't cross the $750 range doesn't mean they don't belong.

all that said i'm not offended, i honestly could give two craps if anyone thinks my rims are expensive or rare, i paid good dough for these ***** and i'm going to rock 'em--hard--one day.

Yeah, the price I mentioned was probably 17s. But, I agree with you. Expensive rims are nice, but if the tC is a daily driver, it's not very wise to have wheels that are exposed and could draw unwanted eyes. You should be proud of the rims you have. You bought them because you liked them, now show 'em off!

yeah no doubt i'm proud, you don't see them on every tC or every car for that matter. now if i started seeing mad tC with them then i'd change them up a little or get different rims. i'll "show em off" when i catch some funds for the tires--cause i'm not putting cheap butt tires on these dudes. i have money that needs to go in so many directions right now.

word.
Fikse is mad expensive and custom. I've only seen them on Porsches, Corvettes, RX7s, and Supras. Fikse is up there with HRE and Kinesis wheels. I've never been a fan of those brands, but I can appreciate the quality.

i agree with you on this... but i dont think they look that good on a tc.. especially a 10" wide rim like that...its not RWD/AWD.. wide rims like that on a FWD just dont make sense. (yes i know its a show car)... but lets be reasonable...

javi:
i never said they were cheap/ bad quality/ etc etc though... only "money wasted" for price of those i would have opted for an HRE,CCW, Kinesis, Breyton, BBS etc etc hek even J Lines or ..or alot of other wheels out there i could toss up.. its like saying hey look i got rotas 10" inches wide...it expensive to have made but its not the same ...

true that...

besides the point that any rim size is a waste on a scion..
