Dude, I've liked your rims, and I think that yes, you should do what you want, but people here hatin' on someone because they don't want/need/can afford some crazy expensive rims is ridiculous.

Not everyone can afford them.
Not everyone wants the downside of owning them - theft, damage, etc.
Not everyone with money - and I have plenty - wants to put parts on to brag.

I don't see any criteria at the beginning of this thread telling people what makes a rare rim, so give a little slack folks.

 

the only reason i'm "hating" on anyone is because they can't follow directions, i have no problem with people buying crappy wheels if they want to, its not my car so thats the end of it. i understand people don't want to deal with crazy ___ wheels that cost a fortune (thats why mine are off 300/365 days a year) the point is people should not be posting wheels in here that don't classify them as the title. thats all i'm saying, if they want to go out and buy 500 dollar rims and have them bend thats fine, all i'm trying to do is keep people straight.

There's tons of wheels I've never seen, so to me, maybe they are rare.
In reality, maybe not...

i think $500/wheel is a little steep, for the tC. $300/wheel is a good starting point for a car like the tC. that said it can boil down to company; konig, motegi and sportmaxx, don't belong in here--no if, and's or but's about it.

if it was 500/wheel then this thread would be so dead.

 

I was actually going off what Ben said earlier. In fact, he even said $700 ea., but I toned it down to $500. But that's still true what you said.
