sure do...... i was going to get a set of these to run during the winter. They are super lightweight and are very good quality rims, unlike the monstrocities that were posted above. they will run you between 1200-1500 depending on who you buy them from

lol is there a real problem with the rims i posted before?! they are in my price range UNLIKE the volks. as much as i would LOVE to run works on my car. i would have to save up for years before i could do that lol. my other expenses take presidence over rims... plus im broke but i agree the works are nice. but then again for the price (~$400 shipped) the wheels i posted above are nice too. what is it about them you dont like? would there be any question in the stucture of the wheels due to the way the spokes curve? ive never had a set of rims before, and infact the tCs alloy wheels are the first set of alloys ive had lol. plus ive never had wheels bigger then 15" before the tC hahah.

those works are a rip.. they are cast wheels, and they weigh about 19lbs, same as stock.. so why would you get them? the point of performance wheels is that they are supposed to be lighter than stock

just because a rim is cast does not make it a bad wheel, alot of higher end rim companies use stricter tollerences in the casting process which makes them much stronger then a ADR or less expensive rim, you are paying for a rim that has very good quality and engineering behind it and not some rim that is poorly made, in fact most two piece volks have a cast center with a forged barrel, are you going to say a volk wheel is a rip because its a cast center? Its how they cast them and the process that they use. 19lbs is not that heavy for a 18inch rim, i want you to find me a 18 inch rim that weighs less then 19 pounds that have the quality that work is known for. The Xt7 are much lighter then most 18" cast rims but you are entitled toyour opinion, however you forget to over look that they XT7 im refering to is 18x8 not 17x7 so the weight is proportanate for a 18" rim.

As for daves question, I dont think they are bad choice and there is probably nothing structurally wrong with them, its more cosmetic that makes not like them. i think when they make rims with lips that deep the face becomes very rounded and looks sort of out of proportion. the other thing about rims that have a exaderated lip is they look smaller then they really are......They are not bad, but i have seen nicer rims for about the same price point that dont have that exaderated lip. Im not knocking you or your choice...........you know that. check this out, i just put a set of these on a freinds BMW, they are a good price and look sweet.

anyway check these out.

well i know that htey are 2pc and 3pc wheels that have some parts forged and some parts cast, but multipiece wheels belong on high HP cars that can careless about weight, they just need something strong.

and about the works, i know that they are great wheels, and they are not your ordinary cast wheels. but becuase they are 17inch and are 19lbs, that is the same as stock.

motegi came out with a forged wheel called the trak lite and they look pretty good imho, and they are only 300 dollars for a 17inch wheel that weighs 14.5 pounds.

however, its all on personal preference what you get.. so more power to you

im not going to get in a online ____ing contest about rims...........
But i see both points of the argument, so i will leave it at that.

the tracklights are a nice wheel........
If you are looking for good affordable wheels check out edgeracing, they have a 5zigen Fno1RC knock off that looks pretty decent and is about 100.00. I have bought rims from them, fast service and the price for shipping is nice!.

what size rim do you want dave?

i read it was 19lbs for the 17x8.. but if its 18x8 then thats pretty light considering stock 18's are 20.5.

either way dave they all look sick
